Clean out a closet.
Help our schools.
Donate unwanted clothing, shoes, linens, and other textiles at an HPTO collection bin and turn your cleanout into funding for Hopkinton schools.
HPTO earns $100 for every ton collected — and your donated textiles get another life instead of heading to the trash.
Earned by HPTO from donated textiles.
Worn, stained, or damaged is okay.

More than just
clothing.
Items should be clean and dry, but they do not need to be in perfect condition.
CLOTHING + ACCESSORIES
Shirts, pants, jeans, dresses, jackets, coats, sweaters, pajamas, socks, undergarments, hats, gloves, scarves, belts, handbags, and similar items.
SHOES
Sneakers, boots, sandals, dress shoes, and other footwear. Please keep pairs together when possible.
HOUSEHOLD TEXTILES
Sheets, blankets, towels, curtains, table linens, pillows, and other fabric household items.
EVEN WELL-LOVED ITEMS
Textiles can be worn, stained, torn, or otherwise unsuitable for resale as long as they are clean and dry.
Bag it. Drop it. Done.
No form. No registration. No special collection day. Whenever you're ready to clear something out, bring it to an HPTO textile bin.
A small habit with two benefits.
Textile recycling keeps reusable and recyclable material out of the waste stream while creating an ongoing source of fundraising for HPTO.
So the next time you're sorting closets, drawers, or linens, don't worry about whether an item is nice enough to donate. If it's clean and dry, bring it along.
